Menangle Park Stage 2B

Project Summary:

Menai Civil was engaged to deliver Stage 2B of the Menangle Park residential subdivision, continuing the expansion of the broader development precinct. The works involved the removal of redundant infrastructure and delivery of new earthworks, stormwater, road pavement, shared path, retaining wall, utility and landscaping infrastructure to integrate seamlessly with the adjoining stages.

Following completion of the Stage 2B works, Menai Civil was also engaged in 2024 to undertake additional asphalt works associated with the deferred bonded layer for the adjacent Stages 1 and 2A, under a separate contract valued at approximately $600,000.

Scope of Works:

Site clearing and removal of existing vegetation.
Demolition and removal of existing pavement and stormwater infrastructure.
Dewatering and desilting of the existing dam.
Approximately 43,870 m³ of bulk earthworks across a 59,650 m² area.
Installation of approximately 1,400 m of stormwater drainage.
Construction of approximately 1,800 m² of reinforced concrete footpaths and shared paths.
Construction of approximately 430 m² of concrete sleeper retaining walls.
Construction of approximately 8,250 m² of road pavement.
Installation and coordination of utility services.
Landscaping and fencing works.
