Lee Fahey

Managing Director

Lee has more than 25 years of experience across the civil construction and plant hire industries. Since acquiring Menai Civil in 2002, he has led the growth and transformation of the business while maintaining a strong focus on its people and culture. Lee is also President of the Civil Contractors Federation NSW Board and remains committed to driving professionalism and best practice across the civil construction industry.

Iolanda Hazell

General Manager

Iolanda brings more than 20 years of experience in people, strategy and business leadership. With a strong focus on building relationships and creating positive workplace cultures, she leads the development and execution of Menai Civil’s broader business strategy. Iolanda works closely with the leadership team to strengthen performance, improve systems and processes, and support the continued growth of the business.

Glen Schembri

Construction Manager

Glen is a qualified Civil Engineer with more than 30 years of experience delivering major road and infrastructure projects. His background spans motorway, rail, maritime, airport and local government works, with extensive expertise across project delivery, utilities, stakeholder management and complex civil construction. As Construction Manager, Glen leads our construction operations and project delivery across the business.

Mark Knox

Pre-Construction Manager

Mark brings more than 17 years of civil construction experience across site-based and pre-construction roles. With strong commercial and technical knowledge, he has extensive experience in estimating, programming and planning of large-scale civil projects. Mark leads our pre-construction function, overseeing tendering, budgeting and contract-related activities to support projects from their earliest stages.

Survey Manager

Brendan brings more than 15 years of surveying experience across civil infrastructure and complex construction projects. He combines strong technical expertise with advanced surveying technologies, including drone capture and 3D modelling, to provide accurate and reliable project data. Brendan leads our surveying team and supports project teams with design, set-out, machine control and quality assurance.

Sarah brings broad experience across civil construction, having worked in engineering, stakeholder engagement and people-focused roles throughout her career with Menai Civil. Her varied background has given her a strong understanding of both site and business operations, supported by excellent communication and relationship-building skills. As Operations Manager, Sarah brings this cross-functional experience to Menai Civil’s leadership team.
