Jordan Springs East

Project Summary:

Menai Civil was engaged by Lendlease Engineering to deliver civil works for the Jordan Springs subdivision, the largest project undertaken by the company to date. The project involved the development of a 750-lot residential subdivision, incorporating extensive earthworks, service installation, road infrastructure and community-focused landscaping.

Delivered as a large-scale, multi-disciplinary project, the works required careful coordination across civil, structural and service elements, including the design and construction of a three-span bridge. The completed development provides essential infrastructure to support a growing residential community while maintaining high standards of quality, safety and environmental performance.

Scope of Works:

  • Site establishment including clearing, fencing and preparation of the development area.

  • Topsoil stripping, stockpiling and replacement totalling approximately 111,000m³.

  • Bulk earthworks comprising approximately 9,000m³ of excavation and reshaping.

  • Reticulation of essential services including electrical, communications, sewer and water infrastructure.

  • Installation of 10,700m of stormwater drainage, including pits and pipework across the subdivision.

  • Construction of 89,000m² of flexible pavement, including sub-base, base course, spray seal and asphalt surfacing.

  • Construction of blockwork and keystone retaining walls to support site levels and lot formation.

  • Installation of kerb and gutter, concrete footpaths, medians and traffic islands.

  • Construction of maintenance access roads throughout the development.

  • Landscaping works including the development of a new community reserve.
